The New Canaan Abuse Prevention Partnership has spent the past 17 years helping to break the cycle of violence in New Canaan and beyond. Founded by Dede Bartlett, the partnership has helped our community to understand that abuse cuts across class, racial, ethnic and religious lines. The partnership has also worked closely with schools, the clergy, the police, the courts, and service organizations. It has also served as the model for similar organizations that were developed in the Fairfield County towns of Darien, Westport, Wilton and Weston.
